FAQs

WHAT IS CELL CHURCH CONNECTION?
Cell Church Connection is all about releasing people into a deeper relationship with God and teaching them how to move and flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It also gives people the opportunity to become involved in the creation of house groups and cell churches, providing them with the support and resources to make it happen. Its aim is to develop and enrich the spiritual life of each member and foster community awareness.
WHY CELL CHURCHES?
Simply put: Cell Churches Work! Originating with Jesus in His sending out of the disciples to find “Houses of Peace” (Acts 10:5-7), they soon became the focal point for the Christian community. Today they help create a sense of belonging and connection where people are nurtured, encouraged and cared about.
WHERE DO CELL CHURCHES OPERATE?
Generally they operate within homes but they can actually take place anywhere such as cafes, clubs, prisons, wherever people gather together. Core people take responsibility for invitations, organising and preparing for the group to meet. Everyone is free and encouraged to participate in the group setting.
HOW DO CELL CHURCHES FUNCTION?
Teaching, training, guidance and support are provided through the use of technology and media platforms such as Skype. The group links in to a facilitator who is on hand to assist and support the group through the use of a series of interactive programmes. An introduction to the Cell Church concept begins with a 6 week programme called Stepping Stones.
