Welcome to the series ‘Stepping through the Old Testament’, designed to give you an overview and background to the Old Testament books of the Bible.  Many people say that they find difficulty reading the Old Testament, because they simply don’t understand it. This series will help you know why each book was written, give its historical background and explain the main themes within it.

Genesis, starts at the beginning of the universe and the last book Revelation, describes the end of the world and beyond. The Bible is unique, because it records the history of the world, written from God’s point of view.
